Required Corrosion Engineers to work for Saudi Aramco
Qualification & Experience Requirement:
• Bachelors’ Degree in the field of Mechanical/Chemical/Metallurgical or Corrosion Engineering
from reputed university.
• 10+ years of experience preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry
• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods and
design details
• Knowledgeable in the development of corrosion and degradation management strategies along
with material selection and specification metallic and non-metallic in refinery and/or
petrochemical environment
• Adequate knowledge in basic petrochemical operations, manufacturing practices, cost control
and personal management is required
• Familiarity with the development and management of corrosion control documents
• Development of risk based inspection strategies
• Optimization of materials selection and corrosion and degradation control strategies for life
cycle integrity.
• Protective coating system selection and specification optional .
• Selection or design of chemical treatment systems, including analysis and interpretation of
system performance and monitoring data.
• Specify or design corrosion and process monitoring systems.
• Analyze and review corrosion chemical and process monitoring systems.
• Fitness for service and remaining life assessment optional
• Identify and analyze failure modes and relate them to specific manufacturing, welding, and/or
operating conditions/history
• Lead failure investigations and develop follow-up actions. This can include formal incident
reporting, LFIs, changes to processes, etc.
• Can take initiative, work under pressure, must be flexible, achievement orientation and can
communicate with Impact
• Excellent English communication skills Verbal & Written
